ABOUT COURSE
This is an 8-hour class that will allow miners to work in any underground mine in the United States. You must have taken an Underground New Miner in the past and have in your procession your previous 5000-23 for Underground. If you have only had Part 46 Sand and Gravel Training you must take a New Miner course.
MSHA requires that each participant must show their face on camera for the duration of the class and have a working microphone in order to fully participate. This is a live class taught by an MSHA blue card holder. It lasts for 8 hours each day. Classes start at 7:00 am Utah Time. We will issue you a 5000-23 the last day of the class. If you have questions about the class or which class you need, please let us know. While you may participate via any electronic device that has a camera and microphone, we recommend using a large tablet or computer. We realize that not everyone has this option so if you are using your phone, please put it on do not disturb for the meeting or it will kick you out when you receive a phone call. If you are unsure of which class you need to take, just call us and we will help you figure it out.
