ABOUT COURSE
This is the classroom portion of the MSHA Part 48A – Underground New Miner Class. This class is a 32 hour class it is typically taught Tuesday through Friday via zoom. Each participant must show their face on camera for the duration of the class. This is a live class. It lasts for 8 hours each day. We will issue you a 5000-23 the last day of the class. You will still need to complete the mine tour and last day at the mine site. If you have questions about the class or which class you need to take please let us know via text or email. While you may participate via any electronic device that has a camera and microphone we recommend using a large tablet or computer. We realize that not everyone has this option so if you are using your phone please put it on do not disturb for the meeting or it will kick you out when you receive a phone call.
