ABOUT COURSE
This is the classroom portion of the MSHA Part 46 – Sand & Gravel New Miner Class. This class is a 24 hour class. You can start any day of the week. You just need to attend three days of training. We are happy to let you split it up if you can’t miss three days in a row.
MSHA requires that each participant must show their face on camera for the duration of the class and have a working microphone in order to fully participate. This is a live class taught by an MSHA blue card holder. It lasts for 8 hours each day. We will issue you a 5000-23 the last day of the class. You will still need to complete the mine tour at the mine site. If you have questions about the class or which class you need please let us know. While you may participate via any electronic device that has a camera and microphone we recommend using a large tablet or computer. We realize that not everyone has this option so if you are using your phone please put it on do not disturb for the meeting or it will kick you out when you receive a phone call. If you are unsure of which class you need to take just call us and we will help you figure it out.
